US-Brazil deal to boost bio-fuels
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim signed a deal making ethanol an internationally traded commodity and promoting its production in Central America and the Caribbean.
This is NOT going to get rid of the punitive tariffs, and the food vs. fuel issue and rain forest protection need to be addressed.
