Cloning plan poses new ethical dilemma

The issue raises ethical questions. Many scientists working in the field believe their research is severely hampered because the eggs they use are of such poor quality that they often do not grow into healthy clones. But others believe that asking women to donate eggs purely for research introduces a possible financial incentive that is morally objectionable.

OK, let me get this straight. You can sell your labor, you can sell your hair for a wig, but try to sell researchers an egg cell, and it’s unethical?? People who don’t think cloning is a good idea will come up with any reason they can to stop progress. Their arguments are specious. Cloning research must continue, it’s our ‘ethics’ that need to be revised for the modern world.
