Church May Erect Cross-Shaped Cell Phone Tower
At Bible Christian Fellowship Church, there is a proposal to develop a 100-foot cell phone tower that would be disguised as a cross and provided by Verizon. Not everyone in the town has dialed into the idea. “As a Christian, I wouldn’t want to do anything that would denigrate the idea of a cross,” said Pequannock resident Walt Coyne.
What a ridiculous joke. I don’t think I’d want my cell service denigrated by a cross, but that’s just me. What’s next–cross shaped computers and cell phones? Cross shaped power-line supports?

Olly, I was thinking after I wrote this: The only thing more ironic that cross-shaped cell phone towers would be if churches started genetically engineering cross-shaped trees. Then they could claim they were intelligently designed.
