Religious Freedom Day

It’s religious freedom day! Since theists are so fond of telling atheists ours is a "belief system," let’s take advantage of the day to proclaim those ‘beliefs.’

While many people will commemorate Martin Luther King Day, few even
know about Religious Freedom Day. That’s why an organization called
Gateways to Better Education is leading a national campaign to raise
awareness about Religious Freedom Day. Gateways helps public schools
teach Judeo-Christian history, thought, and values. It has also
developed a website,, to provide you everything
you need to commemorate the day in your church, your home, and your

All over our country, theists are being encouraged to profess their beliefs openly and loudly. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Thought I would comment on this, before I start in interests of full disclosure should say I know Sean, Well guess I know of him Only met him coupke of times Seemed like I nice guy. Actually knew his wife better ,can’t remember her nane but she was a very nice person. Guessing you guys split up from reading the blog on food shopping with your girlfriend. Can’t say I agree with the Atheist position. Anyway back to the beef , Liked the comment on oil wanted to add, at first Bush said this war is not about the oil. Couple of years later he said Americans are addicted to oil. To me he was saying Yes I got us into this war yes it’s a mess but you people have to have the oil. Good to see this stuff in print even if it’s just on a blog

I thought it was athiest who thought theism was a belief system. What is wrong with believing in anything as long as it gives you hope to go on. without hope we would all role up as a scroll and die. I believe you should shout it from the house top what you don’t believe about religion. Or is the word really re-legion.

Are the Goosey-Ganders the Geese who laid the Golden Eggs?
